Pay

Starting pay of $25.00 per hour
Earn up to $28.00 per hour based on experience and endorsements

Job responsibilities

Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules
Transport students to and from school and related activities
Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional bus environment
Monitor student behavior and promote a safe riding experience
Communicate effectively with parents, school personnel, and dispatch staff
Report maintenance concerns, incidents, accidents, or safety issues promptly
Follow all company policies, DOT regulations, and school transportation requirements

Minimum qualifications

Valid CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements preferred, not required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, drug screening, fingerprinting, and criminal background check
Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

Preferred qualifications

Previous school bus driving experience
Experience transporting students or passengers
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
